On this Wellbeing Camp the Tibetan team were only men.
Karma and Tenzin Gesar responsible for packing the medicines, writing the bills and handing the forms to the patients for their consultations.
Dr. Dorjee and his assistant doctor Tenzin Rabgyal.
Karma has been the first time at the Sylviander House.
Niyas Abu volunteered the first time as a translator for the Wellbeing Camp, but since he lives in Alappuzha he has visited us many times at the Sylviander House.
As always Suresh Babu helps with everything. Besides his briefings he answers questions of the patients and also keeps an eye on the time schedule. Sethu could stay for only one day.
And as always our main chef is Alexander, who prepares three meals a day – but for the breakfast only he cooks the curry, because homemade puris or parothas our brother in law Varghese delivers these items from his nearby teashop as the snacks too for the morning tea break and the afternoon tea break.
During these morning and the afternoon tea breaks it is easy going with some talks here and there – the main topics are the holistic understanding of healing and of course Tibetan medicine.
Having the meals together is like being a big family …
… where even the house pets will join the food celebration – Moojoo is crazy about parothas.
The sight of the scenery of patients waiting for their consultation on the garden side of the Sylviander House emits always a very peaceful atmosphere.
Among the Indian patients are always some few foreigners, some come regularly.
During this January Wellbeing Camp my friends Ann and Melanie from Germany spend their holiday with us, using the chance to experience a pulse diagnose and Tibetan medicine. No question, we have to take a good-bye picture when the Tibetan team leaves during sunset to the railway station, going back to Bangalore …
